Alrightythen. I'm looking to see what everyone thinks about the reprinted abridged version of Nessmuk's Woodcraft and Camping book, the one offered by Dover Publications. Does loosing the abridged material really take away from the origional, or is it still a good buy? I just placed an order from Lee Reeves for one of his osage orange hafted Nessmuks, and I'd like to get the book to read up on.

Opinions?

The book is great. I ordered two from Lee Reeves and when they came
I went to some timber and started chopping with one of them and in about
tem minutes the head came loose. I grabbed the other one and the same thing happened what ever Lee uesed to secure the heads it did not work.
I went home and put some epoxy glue on them ( I think it was Jb weld )
any way I let it dry and in a couple of days went back out and they worked
great.
hope this helps

sorry about the bad spelling. I ment ten minutes and I ment what ever Lee
used was not real secure stuff.

I had the same problem with mine(hatchet) from him and sent it back and he put a bigger wedge in it and seems to be holding:thumbup:
