so today dtrap, pops, and myself headed over to our good friend dave's house today. we went on a little walk about out in the woods to beat on some serious steel and see what our blades could hold up too. we did a lot of stuff that we shouldn't have with our knives and hawks but hey you need to know what they can take right :) we did a lot of chopping, a lot of throwing, some fire starting and even some BACON eating. we had a ton of busse's, swamp rats, siegles, JK hawks, coal creek forge hawks, ect ect ect. we had to many knives lol. on to the pics as they speak for themselves.

all of the blades.... well most of them anywho

VERY nice collection of steel! You have some beauties for sure.:thumbup:

I wish I could take all the credit but not all blades are mine. It was a mix of the groups blades. was definitely some sexy steel out today though lol.

Hi grunt -

Awesome!

I have not thrown my DBH, but I will try that - worst that could happen is I have to pay John to put scales back on it!

Thanks for the cool pics and vids - I hope you can make the gathering!

Good to know, been a while since i threw a hawk and even then it was a regular 40$ special, :), looks like a great day, glad you had some fun. Must be nice to know people who are interested in knives and such in real life.

Looks like a great time. That orange handled hawk is outstanding!

Yeah we have a little local gun forum here in Indiana and it has a knife section and that is how most of us met up. Plus my dad and brother. It's definitely a lot more fun with a group of folks and different blades.

The orange handled hawk and belt hawk were both huge hits. Everyone really enjoyed them

Great vids!
It's really good to see the spike hawk in hand & being seriously used, what a beast.
