A couple of years ogo I updated Dennis' article on the Ulster Old Timer offers on the Prince Albert can. I also had found an offer on the Camel Cig match book for the whittler (58OT). Well I thought for the last 2 years I'd gotten it all until last week.
Along comes this..
These are also brands by Reynolds.
I need to listen to what I always say. "with Schrade ya just never know"

Darn, the offer expired December 31, 1971.
I suppose they probably wouldn't honor it if I send in my two dollars and 5 Days Work wrappers!

It makes me wonder how many other offers are floating around that we have not discovered yet.

It certainly speaks of a bygone era when you see tobacco & pocket knives in the same promotion!

Larry, Very Helpful review ! why would the 58OT be mis-named as a Whittler ? a Reynolds' ad, but would Ulster not have tried to correct this ?
LG4 describes "Whittler" as a "modern collectors' term" even though the pattern has been made for a long time. maybe the term "Whittler" as currently defined is more recent than this Reynolds offer ?
