I know we have many folks from down under that visit this little section of BF, but is more directed to us living state side. It sickens me to see how many people don't even know what an important day today is in American history. 9-11-2001 was the day I was the angriest I have ever been at people outside this country as well as the day I was most proud to call myself a citizen of the United States of America. I was in college at the time and was in between classes when I saw a TV on in the student lounge. I sat in awe as I watched the news showing what had happened, I actually saw the second plain hit on live TV. I just really hate how people over look this day, I actually gave all of my techs a half day today in remembrance of what happen 13 years ago.

NEVER FORGET!!!!!!

I'll never forget! I was asleep and all my phones were ringing off the hook! When I finally answered I was told I was to pack extra gear and that more than likely would be sent to afganastan sometime during my next contract? Half asleep I turned on the tv an was just shocked! I wanted to go right then and there! It was a sad day. No1 should ever forget!

Believe me if I was better I'd be there finishing unfinished buissness and a few other spots in the world too!

I was getting ready for elementary school and remember taking a white button up and black pressed pants from the closet and seeing it on the tv screen. Remember it like it was yesterday.
