Well... I cant believe it but it happened... I left my BK14 alone with a Kershaw Leek for just a few minutes... and guess what happened?!...

Oh my they procreated?!?!?! Well honestly this was just a quick project I have been knocking around for awhile... a leek fixed blade... just so happens the 24 scales mounted up perfectly. The blade is pinned squeezed, and epoxied into place... so its not a full tang blade but it will do for carving tasks... Even without the epoxy the blade was locked into place I also wharnnied up the leek blade a bit more... as you can probably tell I am not done with the clean up on the blade or handles but I figured I would give you guys a quick glance of my abomination!!! Shes purty ugly but I gave it a quick sharpen with a thin convex... cuts like a red hot razor... The goal/challenge was to do the mod with simple tools quickly, and with the parts between the two blades. The only new piece is one pin. You can see it in this WIP pic below.... Once I am happy with it I will show you more. Right now its just embarrassing ;) Hey... at least I am having fun!

And I thought Rabits were bad.

Looks like a handy little blade.
No worries. I've had worse abominations, where they're ugly AND they don't work!

I have a box of some of those ugly nonfunctional abominations too... o well it was fun while it lasted... ;)

LOL :D I call shenanigans here !!! The Becker would obviously be the stronger gene pool & therefore dominant. Something went terribly wrong here !!! LOL :D

Pretty crafty. For some weird-assed reason I like it. Kudos to you for having the common decency to not ruin those Becker scales by putting them on a Gerber. That would have been insulting.

+1

Lol thank yall for looking.

Tdhurl- I think I only own a couple gerbers... but they are all oldies folders.... and I didnt buy a single one of them.. found two of them in fact lol.

I have been craving a smaller wharnie fixed blade for awhile... I really like the GEC Wharnie folders but havent committed. The wharnie blade style is just too much fun to carve with.

I have a gerber that was given to me as well. I use it for work because I cant carry a fixed. But like the saying goes, "What happens at work stays at work." LOL

I'll have to check them out...
