I don't own a sebbie but I know that I've seen tons and handled them a lot. Well to the point....I was at a gun show today and saw a guy had 2 sebbies for sale with graphics. One was a small sebbie, the other I have never seen. It had graphics, no clip, double thumb lug, and was about 1 1\2" shorter than the SMALL sebbie. This thing was tiny. It came new with the box and card. I asked him how he got it and he said he traded work on a lathe and lasers for CRK. He said that he gave him a whole bunch of sebbies and mnandi, but only one of these. He was selling it. I just don't know if I was crazy or are these worth anything.

Umfaan.

And they are definately worth something!

Kind regards,

Jos

Which gun show were you at? I know there is the WAC(washington arms collectors) show on the 17th/18th of this month at Puyallup. I've been working the shows for the past year and have yet to see a CRK for sale....maybe I wasn't looking hard enough?

Either way, too bad you couldn't pick up the small one you were talking about!

How much did he want for that Umfaan ?

They go for a pretty penny now adays.

I still can pick it up. I took pics with my cell phone but I can't get t hem off the phone.

I think that was a pretty good price for one before the current economic downturn....Maybe others can chime in as in my recent experience...It is harder to "part a fool of their money" as it were...Not that we have alot of fools on BF - ;-)

You should buy it, it;s leikyl quite rare and could probably resell it easily if you wanted it. In fact I want it, but don't have any $ right now.

Dave's right. $400 is a good price for a plain Umfaan in good condition. If you have the money, and it speaks to you, you should probably buy it.

Even if they are re-introduced (which I think they almost certainly will not be) the original pattern would still be highly collectible.

$400 for an Umfaan is awesome!! I would suggest that you buy it, if you can.
