I did read it, but was unsure as to whether or not it would be construed as "political" due to the ethnic/Irish angle.

Or you could simply read the rules (which you did) take your best guess and post it in what seems the appropriate forum (which you did ).

If any mods get too upset about it being the horribly wrong forum, they'll let you know and move it.
