Nevermind , dont want one.

I'm not into self defense, but I think the Bulldog is a good sized utility knife. I prefer most of my EDC blades to be under 3.5 inch.
 
Im in the same boat. The only reason I consider even getting an emerson is the wave and design for S/D and then utility. Otherwise I would not consider it. I like the idea of a waved karambit like the karahawk as well. I like it as a resue tool and protection. I have a window hammer, mutli tool, hatchet etc in my gear bag. I may just have to go with my gut.
I carry a fixed blade every single day so this would be just for work use.
