Nevermind I did it, PICS: TGLB in CF and V edge

I'm trying to decide whether or not to reprofile my TGLB to a flat edge. The current convex edge could use a sharpening, but I'm not familiar enough to touch up or redo a convex. Anyone ever reprofiled a convex to V edge? Was it a good idea?

Went and did it: Took the edge pro to the TGLB. Started at the 120 grit stone all the way to the 6000 grit polish tape. Whittles hair easily despite the 50 degree inclusive angle.

One of the best buys I have ever made was a harbor freight belt sander. Sharpening large knives takes minutes

The more I mess with it, the more I wish I kept the convex edge and just bought a belt sander. A nice V edge looks great on a coated edge, I'm thinking CF should be convexed.
