Deviant Blades is Filip De Leeuw, who is actually a Spyderco design collaborator (Friction Folder, and possibly some others I can't recall), so I am guessing he paid the minimal licensing fee or otherwise got permission from Sal to use the Spyderhole.

^ This. He's used the Spyderhole on many (if not most)of his customs. I don't think there's a problem here.
