I have heard that Nevrdull is pretty good stuff for knives. Is this true, can it be used on knives without corroding / rotting materials such as Macassar Ebony Dymondwood, rubber, plastic, and any other material one would find in a knife ( I'd like to know how careful I should be one polishing the brass. ) I also obviously would like to know if it polishes brass and nickle well and protects etc, a saw a video online that seemed fairly impressive. Also one last question, I heard this stuff even removes small scratches off knife blades? is this true, thanks.

I used the Never Dull polish wadding on a 110 several years ago. I had also used the liquid and if I recall, it may have stained the wood. It has a very mild abrasive in it, but I never used it to remove scratches. Eventually I quit polishing it because I sort of like the look of the tarnished brass.

That's disappointing. but thank you for your reply. The stuff looks decent, and I apologize I didn't make it clear that I was talking of the wadding kind. I'm looking for something that will not hurt wood and the other man made materials listed above in my first post, but still will polish and protect brass, nickle etc and take light scratches out of blades. Maybe I'm expecting too much, haha.

I mean I could just sand the light scratches off if I find a polish harmless enough not to harm my knife with stains.

Why not tape over the wood if you want to polish the metal parts?
