I heard from a reputable source that the new Makora will have a 5" blade!!!

That seems huge. The only info Ive found is here:

these stats are probably wrong though. I doubt it will have a smaller blade then the previous version. You guys heard anything? Looks like an awesome knife.

This one's treading the fine line between tactical and tacticlol with those CF inserts and that Klingon 4-point glass breaker.
 
I really like how they incorporated the CF as an insert. Cool change from the top slab of CF like on the Ultratech I have. CF doesn't look all that great after you chamfer the edges.

I agree the glass breaker is a bit much. But I bet that's removable. Looks cool to me overall.
 
it says blade length is 3.35" , am i missing something? the pic above looks long but is it a prototype or is it the production mak?

a 5" blade mak would be cool FWIW.
 
Jeez that bottom one hurts, full serrated edge with half serrations on the other side? Is this some sort of auto-OTF saw? Made extra strong by all those holes drilled through the blade?

I wish MT would come out with more users but I guess they know their market, I sure as hell don't use my Troodon for anything but opening mail. ;)

A dealer sent me that pic, I believ those are the production.
