I bought a new Buck 110 to replace one I have had since 1975. I gave my older Buck 110 to one of my sons and I just had to have another one to replace it.
I am sure impressed with the fit and finish of the new one - it's a bit nicer than the older one and the blade is plenty sharp to boot. Good job guys.

Congrats on the new purchase!

One thing that I like better on the newer 110s is the way that the handles are rounded off. More ergonomic and a slightly better look in my opinion.

One of these days, I may have to buy another new 110 and have the steel changed out. Nothing wrong with 420HC actually, but for another $30 or so, you can have ATS-34 or BG42.

I'm seriously considering buying a custom 110 just to have one. I'll have to get it spiffed up with nice scales and Nickel bolsters.
The 420HC blade on the new 110 will last for many years and if I have to sharpen it -- that's ok, I enjoy using my Sharpmaker.
