Hey there’s a thread in the general discussion forum that ask to vote for your favorite knife. Come on lets get those Buck votes up.
Now as the heading says, i got my 112 Ranger Automatic yesterday and absolutely love it. Anyone else get one. If not let me tell you they are nice.

they are badazz---got one outta the blem case in the factory store about a month er 2 ago...loveitt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the 110 and 112 autos, but my favorite is the 898 Impact. Thanks for the heads up I'll go over and vote. Preston

it's an older thread. I voted back in September for buck even though i collect and use other brands as well as bucks. buck is still my favorite overall though.

Yea i guess it is old i mean a whole month back.... lol.
My second favorite is Spyderco. I have 5 but have around 30 Buck knives.
Dogpound how much you pay for that blem auto? Shame i couldt get

The club discount. Bought it at a local dealer so supporting small business makes the hole in my wallet not such a bad thing.

So the thread was also dealing with knives that were not auto? Preston

No its about the Buck Auto i just bought. And wanted others that bought one to offer their opinions. The poll on another thread i mentioned was just to bring it to those here who might wanna vote.

I got mine about a week ago. It's a great knife. There is no blade play side to side or up and down. It doesn't fire really hard but hard enough. I don't know but I think that not firing overly hard was probably part of the design to keep it from wearing out and loosening up too fast. I have carried it everyday since I got it and couldn't be happier.

Glad to hear that. I will carry it most of the time aswell. Just not at work. As i said the 112 LT gets that duty.

I flush the pic of out and work the blade and action over and over. I'll do this 3 or 4 times. Seem s to help tremdously.

I got my Auto Elite last week; it fired hard but you had to push the blade back into the 'locked closed' position forcefully, to where the lockbar stuck out of the frame by about 1/16 of an inch or more. Thinking this can't be right, I sent it to Buck Warranty. I have a couple 110 autos that are not like that at all, you simply unlock the blade and close it and it locks closed without force.

I got mine a month ago..I fired it a dozen times then was off to the SackUp..I was torn about using it or saving it for trade or Custom work. I really only collect rare and odd 112's and I was hoping that the first run would be marked in some way. With all the new 112's out now there's not one was rare and/or odd in any way SO FAR...
