New 120

I would second the 5160 suggestion. I just pulled the trigger on a Buck 112 with 5160. Wish I had got it a long time ago.

Congratulations David! As far as fixed blades go I'd suggest a 124 Frontiersman and one of the Nighthawk series, (I prefer the ones made prior to the TOPS design elements). IMHO the entire Nighthawk series is one of the most under appreciated and models out there and an excellent value especially the 651 Pigsticker.

Cool knives. Love the 124

I like the way the way the heavier brass parts, offset the weight of the blade on a large knife. I think you chose wisely.

For a next knife, I'd recommend the crown stag 119, from c&c. Everybody should have one knife with a crown stag handle. Old school cool, and BUCK did it right.

Great score. I used my brass/cocobolo 120 for turkey duties this past thanksgiving :D A great knife

For your next, I say pick one and go for it. I don’t think you can go wrong with just about anything in the Buck lineup, considering your taste for the 120. I do also echo the 124 comments, though. Another great blade.

Build up your collection. 124 is a great knife. After I got all the Bucks I really wanted I went into vintage mode. Many people don't like the Bay, but if you know knives you can get great deals on all kinds of vintage Bucks. It doesn't happen quickly. You can just look from time to time and you will find good deals on vintage Bucks in very good condition.

Glad you got one-I bought one of the 110/120 sets from Sam's last year my 119 is plenty big for anything I need a knife for but I couldn't resist having it's big brother. Definitely a nice knife!
