New 14 Hand Sheath... Ouch

Immediately after posting my salad post a second ago I used my 14 to cut something and then mistook my hand for the sheath... That little thing in the pic on top of the sheath is bone I think. it was stuck to the tip when I pulled it out.

I always play with my folders when I watch television: good fun during the commercials:D

I have done that before too, and it hurts, because you apply decent pressure when putting a knife back into a sheath. Beckers bite deep...

effin right doggie thats a painful lookin ass bite! my marine kabar put a nice scar on my left finger doing the same damn thing,only it went through the leather into my hand.
 
Orange - Spot on, I am usually just annoyed by a cut because of the dressing and having to keep it clean. This SOB is more tender.

Blade - Through the sheath, WTF. That would piss me off

Well its been a few hours and I just cleaned it up again. Its swollen a little now.

Yikes, looks like a good time.

I've only had slices, no stabbies on myself so far (fingers crossed).

Heal up man. Keep it clean, or else somebody else is gonna have to cut it open again and clean it for you :D
 
;) You guys should know by now to be EXTRA CAREFUL when ever new Beckers are being released. The rest of them get VERY jealous during this time & will let you know it ! My BK10 almost separated my nuts permanently today. I put the micarta handles on it, FINALLY, & found that they didn't fit right. Could barely get the 3rd bolt to go through. I had to leave the other 2 VERY loose just to get the 3rd one started. Wife came home from work, (i was doing this on the picnic table outside), i stood up to give her a peck on the cheek & when i sat down, the cord from the Dremel tool caught the blade, spun it so the the blade & an inch or so of the handle were off the edge & it fell & stuck into the seat, about an inch from my nuts.:eek: The wife looked at me with big eyes. I said see, it's jealous of you, didn't like me kissing you.:rolleyes: I thought it was scary & funny, her, not so much.:D


Hope you heal quick & clean.

oh it did.it was my dads though,and i was only 11 or 12.he made a new one for it.
