Wow, they arrived! The 12" as I said in recent post is a flawless well proportioned khukuri, but the 15"!!! What can I say it fits my hand like it was DESIGNED for it! And the 20" inch, just as flawless and beautiful! Must go, too much sharpening, chakma'ing, fondling, and oiling to be done before bed!! Many thanks uncle for the excellent cust. service as always--even while packing for Nepal.

Now now, Don't get too excited, people might think that you're crazy. BUT, if they had an HI Khuk, they'd be crazy too! (LOL) I agree with your opinion on the Sirupati. I'm eagerly awaiting a 20" as well as an 18"AK. Mr Postman REALLY needs to bring them today! We're having 'a winter storm' right now. In AL, all it takes is a dusting of snow to clear the grocery shelves. They've been predicting up to a foot, this morning, we have a dusting... But it is coming down pretty steadily. Looks like I'll get the day off from work, Hmmm, more time to fondle my Khuks, I I mean split some firewood.

Ahhh! The rambling goes on!!! Back to the subject, the Sirupati is the best feeling blade that I have used yet. It feels like an extension of the hand/arm. Almost made to be a part of your body. Enjoy, and be sure to post your chopping results. I was shocked at how well the 20" does on vegetation up to about 3" in diameter. The nice thing is that it slices right through even the thinnest stuff due to it's slender profile (relatively speaking...), yet is tough enough to handle the big stuff as well.

'He's losin' it... (Words spoken about me by a visitor seeing me with my Khuk!)
Lucky for them I'm not...

The 15" Sirupati has been calling my name ever since I handled that 25". Alas, the powerball has not cashed out in my favor yet so I'll have to wait awhile.

MauiRob,
Those Khukuris are awesome! I love my 20" Sirupati, my 25" and my son's 15" Sirupati. Good choices.

I cuold not agree more. Mine is a 17.5 visiter made with a gray horn handle and proubably my faverite to handle. It just feels right and cuts with so little effort. My G.S. is by far more impressive and finer made but the sirupati is more comfortable.
