Hey, thought I'd start a thread for a change... been a while. I hadn't picked up a new Kershaw for some time so I thought I better go pay full retail for one ;). I have a soft spot for the JYD design... large, small, titanium, G10 or whatever. This one is no exception... pretty cool new twist with the premium CPM D2 composite blade. The black G10 is almost the same as their limited sans the rivot pattern and coarse texture. I'm still not a big fan of monster clips, but the design still feels great in the hand. And with this new blade, it should be a winner for them. This is not a small knife, but you might lighten it up about 2oz without the clip ;) ha! (just kidding). You guys will love this one and Kershaw is still the leader!
 
I just ordered this knife so your pictures are right on time to help me get by until it arrives. I was waiting to buy a composite blade but wanted a flipper, so the jyd should fill that need quite well.

well, wasn't lookin to beat anyone... just checking it out and posting pics. Glad you all like it. Little big for me, I think I max out at my sg2 blur. Anyway, maybe this one will be my 1000th giveaway???
 
I've actually been pretty distracted these days and I haven't been buying a lot of knives.... Strange but true, I actually kind of pushed myself to go buy the knife today. Sort of trying to kick start my interest a bit. We'll see how it goes but I haven't hardly been even posting on here. Got to get my butt going again or I'll never make that 1000th for you guys ;)
 
Ah, so there's the composite blade Tim. :thumbup: I like the rivet blade pattern and with sticking with the aviation rivet theme. ;) That would look good in a Ti frame for Blade there buddy. :D John, the blade as thin as the the other SG2 knives?

I'll have to check on this, don't quote me. But to answer your question, yes it would be the first blade.
