Uncle Bill,

On my second day of using the 20" AK, and already have blisters on 2 fingers! Not from poor handle design, but more from Chopping madness the big AK produced!
Anyway thanks to you and the Kamis for such a great blade.

Aloha!

Rob

And, before long, Rob, you're likely to develop "khuk elbow." It's a lot like tennis elbow, except that you get it from extended periods of khuk usage. Having played tennis a number of years and, on occasion, having dealt with tennis elbow, I was surprised to find that I sometimes get the same symptoms after "playing" with my khuks. Oh well, I guess every pleasure comes at a price. At any rate, glad you're enjoying your AK. I certainly enjoy mine -- it has replaced my axe for most purposes, including firewood splitting.

Hi Steven,

I'll have to watch out for that! Maybe with a knife as heavy as that HI should put out a pre-chopping exercise stretching video for 20" AK users--Ha Ha! My only problem is I've run out of things to chop!

Thanks,

Rob

Khukuri elbow, and tennis elbow are caused by same reason... Making too much smash!

Wrongfriend,

Maybe you're right. I'll just have to try and pace myself. It doesn't help that my house is right next to a sugar cane field on one side and a ravine filled with trees and brush on the other!

Good advice Bill. Let the tool do most of the work. Adjust accordingly.
