New 3 Carry Option Mora Sheath

Looks good to me bro!

I like the color, and the carry options.

Oh and if you want to embed your video here at bladeforums you have to wrap the youtube code like this.

Nice sheath! Nice warm color.

That Mora could use some color on the handle too!!:D

Can I give some advice?

I might put a second line of stitches inside the first on that latest sheath.

This one has what I mean:

I think it would make the sheath and welt stronger and give it some more aesthetics.

I really like it and I love the color - good job!

Looks good! Does the welt follow the contour of the blade, or did you leave it squared off so the sheath could accomodate other knives if needed?

Here's one I just made for my Mora 760:

I think he left it a little large and squared so that it would fit his pants pocket - he shows where he stows it in the video.

I think it is perfect for his application.

Yeah, I figured that one out. :D I was talking about on the interior.

I left the welt squared off, I think next one I am going to contour a do a double row or stitching. Leather work is kinda new to me. I an usually a down and dirty, hurry up and get the job done person. Working with leather is not like that at all. Thanks for all of th comments and suggestions. They help a lot.

Great job on the sheath and the video.

Yep, the contoured welt is a must, I believe.....however, I also believe the double row of stitching is over-kill and just not necessary.
If done properly, a single row won't fail ya.......I have tried taking apart a sheath I've made, using tools....conditions you would never encounter out there. If you do, you have much more to worry about than a knife and sheath....anyway, the only way I was able to tear it apart was with a good sharp knife....just another perspective.

Sheath looks great. Where did you get the Turley?

I got it from the man him self. I met Iz at a bushcraft meet and got to use one of his knives. I really liked the fit of his dogwood model, and asked him to make mine. I am going to do a full review of it after deer season. He is about 8 months out on orders but it is worth the wait. Here is a link to his site,

He goes by bindlestitch on this forum and bushcraft usa.

Thanks for the props, Ia. I appreciate it.
I've told you this several times, but you've got a knack for the leather, my friend. You should make me several.:D
