dave, I think you need to make your pictures smaller. When I click on them, you can't even get the whole knife on the screen! They are HUGE and very grainy.

I think thats an odd knife alright. Pics are a little fuzzy but it looks like part of your problem in closing it, is that the liner channel is filled with what may be something we like to call steel:eek:

yes it is a very early made
110 fixed blade by leroy remer in the custom shop
sorry for the bad pict
when i get my batts charged i can take good picts tomarow
these were by the former owner who bought it 10 years ago for
227$
i called leroy and from my discription it is real and made by him
got ecxited over it and it is in my display there now
the brass is stamped with a older one line with a dot by the K

yes like that term full tang
and that is what it is
one peace of steel not a 110 welded to a steel blank

334dave, now that's a 110... I always wanted a fixed blade 110... Buck should make them... ITE

i do believe in Leroy- i do i do i do

yes i have be3en showing it off all day
Jack Forseman directed the man that walked in with it
over to me as the 110 guy and ask me about it
he walked up and said he had a 110 that if i could close it
i could have it
i only glanced at the lock depression and
KNEW what it was before i seen the blade!
and he sold it to me for a price that even ITE might would pay! ;)
he was there again today to pick up the rest of the money
and giggled all day that i had it out showing it off every place!

update
i jest got a call from leroy
it was made by him and it is a very early one
it was made jest after the custom shop opened
he made it for a man named Charlie G.
now that is some provenance in any ones book!~:D

I can personally report that is one coooooool 110....I cant see where there could be a more odd/rare 110 ever made! Joe Houser told me that there was a 112 fixed blade made back in the day and it could be the rarest 112 ever made.Don't you just love the odd!!!!! I'm really happy for ya Bro!

show up date!
well the show is went great
it is over
learned a couple things
1 you should be at your table as much as you can
as you Never Know what will walk up!
2 never think all the good finds are gone the first day
3 it pays to be nice to all that come up as you may see them again
and as they know what you like may point you in a good direction!
total finds
the straight blade 110- walked up fri
a TC contender Ram horn- 110 walked up fri
a 500 needs tlc -directed to sat
a 532 with sheath in nice condition - found under pile of knives sat
a 186 walked up with question sun
total out of pocket for all of them was less then 500 buckaroos

Are the handles and bolsters real "110" handles or are they replica's?

yes they really are from a 110.
from what leroy said this may
be one of jest a very few with the 4 rivets

it was the find of the year for me
jest wish Darrel had been able to show up
had a jar of shed juice for him..
now have to ship it off to some one i guess
but it will keep tell blade show i guess..
