Just picked up my new pistol-looks like high qc may be back at the pony! Nice finish, no marks or blemishes, and the thing almost worries me because it is so tight-no rattle or give, and I am used to the old military rattlers. A really nice trigger dynamic for out-of-the-box. Side panels are nice. If it looks as good inside as out, and if she shoots like she looks, all I need is an aftermarket safety (I am one of those lefties). Not counting my chickens before they are hatched, but so far, so great. Hopefully, can get some pics up later, if anyone wants.cwd

Would love to see some pics of the Pony. The 1991's are tight, solid and very good shooting pistols; nothing like the old 70 Series Govts, but I dig those too.:)

Show me the pics! Colt's varied a lot in quality through various economic and union issues. It sounds like they might have fixed some previous Q.C. issue so, I'm looking forward to your pictures.

Great! you gotta have one! would like to see it and get a range report!
What was the damage if I may ask??
