New 5 on the way!!

I ordered a used Izula a month or so back from a member here. I have been in love with this thing. I EDC it every day and work hard to find reasons to break it out and use it!
I have been wanting to update my BOB and add to it a blade like the ESEE 5 for a while now. SO... I received some Christmas $ and was so excited!! I ordered the 5 black plane edge, an arrowhead, and a Spyderco Sharpmaker from www.tacticaldefender.com. I spoke with him on the phone a while ago and really seems to be on the up and up! He was a very nice man.
Just as an added bonus, his prices where the lowest I could find any where! Plus he offered free shipping, and a 10% off code! After it was all said and done, my order came to just over $180! What a deal!

I am so excited I just can't hide it. :D

Sorry I sound like a little kid, but that is what I feel like at the moment....
 
Good for you! You will love the 5. My izula is one of several EDCs. Another awesome little knife!
 
i can't wait to get a 5. i've been carrying my izula since i got it on Christmas eve, even put it back in my pocket while nursing the wound it gave me. :) i actually thought about using it to cut the bandages off when it was time to change them, but i decided against it. hope you love the 5. let us know what you think when you get it.

oh, and watch out... if the izzy bites this bad, i'd hate to loose a hand or something from the 5. yikes.
 
i heard the real reason we're not supposed to throw esee knives is because the last time someone threw a 5, they missed their target and created the grand canyon! :O
 
Yeah I heard that before. I also heard that someone was throwing one, missed the target and it cut Chuck Norris!!!
 
Just got an email... The 5 is out of stock!! Now I have to wait 3 freaking weeks!!! This is not good!! LOL

Now what am I going to throw?

actually, i heard that's how the dude that sent his knives back finally broke his knife... it missed the target and broke on chuck norris' beard. chuck was unharmed.
 
Thank God Chuck was unharmed!! That makes a lot more sense....

That guy who threw the ESEE must :jerkit::jerkit: Left handed.

not advocating you cancel you order, but dale over at the knife connection has 2 more in stock in case anyone else is looking for a good price on one. i only know because he had 3 in stock earlier today. this will be my 3rd esee in under a week. dammit.
 
em gear is quite cheap as well, I just ordered from them, lowest price I have seen for it. just sayin'
 
You should be able to find another one at a site.....a couple of vendors post on this forum. Cancel the order if you can't wait!

Screw waiting 3 weeks!!!

Dale at The Knife Connection has a few in stock of each variation of the 5. Best person to deal with for ESEE knives in my opinion.

If you order it tonight, odds are you'll have it by Monday, no later than Tuesday. Dale is the man and will take care of you. Odds are, he's already placed your order...he knows what you want before you do.
 
Got my 5 from dale, far as knives go, if he has it in stock, its the person I will be buying from.
