New 503's

These are my first ever Buck's from the custom knife shop. I had these made for a special accomplishment and could not be happier. I carry a 503 every day and i love these.

Great pocket knifes. The Water Buffalo and Indigo Royalwood look really nice on these. Congrats.
 
Those do look really nice! I just got my first 503 and it's a CS elk. I started not to get it because I though it might be slightly to small. It's not and I hate the thought of missing out on it; great little cutter to boot!
 
I have had a 503 for a long time and think it is a perfect size. The elk looks good and I almost went with that. My have to reconsider.
 
Right now I'm working on a collection of the Old Script 500 series in Red Micarta. My everyday carry is a CS 501 in Walnut with an S30V blade.
 
i have a 503 in walnut on its way. I will post a picture once I get it. Do you carry the 501 in your pocket? I have thought about buying one but am afraid it is a little too big for my pocket.
 
Yes, I pocket carry the 501 in khakis and dress pants and never notice it's there. When I wear jeans, I carry my Old Script 500, which is slightly more noticeable...but in a comfortably reassuring way.
 
The only 500 series I don't carry in the pocket is the 500. The 501 carries a lot like a thinner 301 and the 503 is just a perfect pocket carry.
 
The skins are flush but the rivets are not they stick up just a tiny bit but are very nicely rounded. I have never had anything get hung on them. I like them sticking to just a bit so you can feel them.
