New 532 just came in!

I just received my new 532 from cumberland-knives.com and I'm very happy. I purchased the rosewood handle version and cumberland currently has it on sale for $55. What a deal!

The fit and finish is great. It will definitely sit with my MS 532 from last year.

Thanks Buck for keeping this one going. Now you need to make a 'Gent' version or offer a BG-42 for the 503.

(Maybe I should just join the collector's club)

Yup, these are great knives. I bought two,(from our own Dennis Wright), one in "red" and the other in "indigo", the red one is put up, but the blue one is in daily carry mode. I love the way this steel holds it's edge, I've been using it for all sorts of different tasks for about a month or so and it's still sharp enough to make someone comment on it when they see me use it. I like it so much I've had a special sheath made for it, which suspends it in my pocket, thus allowing me to wear it at work, w/o it being on my belt (office atmosphere y'know). I'd get the walnut one too, but I'm saving for the Buck Club Knife, don't want to miss that one. Now I wish Buck would re-issue the two blade model they made a few years ago. Can you imagine that in BG42 ? Whew !
Still hoping the 532 gets into Pete's Custom Shoppe, i'd love to have one done "special", just for me.
