Howdy yall,

I finally got both of my 73's that I ordered in. One in cocobolo and one in natural stag:D the F&F on both of them is excellent:) so I thought I'd post some pics for yall to see:D:D

Congrats Ryan, I would've been all over these new 73's if I hadn't been scared off by reports of overly strong pulls.

Great 73's, very nice. There was some very nice stag in this run.

Thanks guys for all the nice comments:):):):) they really are nice knives!

Shawn, they really aren't that strong of pulls, maybe a 6-7. I really like strong pulls and these are definitely lighter than I expected. They don't hurt my nail at all to open, I'd give them a try;):D

556hunter, you did well with both of those.:thumbup: Nice grain on the cocobolo and a beautiful stag.

I have an Osage 73 and have been trying to resist the cocobolo and stag while waiting for some other models I see coming soon.
Yours are making the resistance more difficult ;) but thanks for posting them.

Two beauties Ryan. I really like the single blade 73, it fits your hand perfectly and the handle isn't obscured by a secondary blade.

Now, my question is........are they sharp?:D

Sharp enough to cut your eyeball just lookin at em:D;)

Excellent! Ryan can really sharpen a knife and when he sent me a couple of his knives to work on, I cut my fingers! :grumpy: I learned real fast to tape his blades up or risk losing a digit! :D:eek:

Congrats, Ryan!!!:thumbup: The 73s are good-looking knives anyway, but you've got a couple of "beauty pageant" knives there with the handles you chose; that "burnt toast" stag especially floats my boat!:cool::D

Beat me...beat me...make me write hot checks:D:eek: Splendid 73's
