Kind of reminds me of the Sanelli that Mario Batali used on Iron Chef.

His was a bigger chopper than the one in the picture. I haven't found a pic of the one he used.

This is very nice. The only change I would like if it were for me would be a more regular curve. Here it appears that the curve is mostly on the tip half of the blade. It is a personal preference thing.
