New Acquisition: Jim Ferguson bowie...

I just bought a giant Damascus bowie made by Jim Ferguson for $400. Blade is 1/4" thick, OAL is 16". Handle is cherry burl with mammoth ivory and ebony dove-tailed inlays.
Looking for feedback on the value. I'm sure I did well; just wondering HOW well.
I'll post photos as soon as I figure out how.
