I didn’t realize that the .15 thick AD was made with any slabs other than snake.

Then I saw this Tan one and well then there is Ducci’s now too.   :grumpy:

Thanks to the HOG that let me have this one

Got It!!! Good deal Tony....she's a real beaut bro. That's the only way I would do brown handles....satin, all the way!

I had one that was DCBB with green linen, but one of my employees took off with it after I set it down while tearing down some boxes in my dry goods area.

I've got a DCBB/Black Linen,

So there are other combos out there.

Nice score, and nice set of Duty's

Wow, those are beauties.... the snakeskin AD looks like it had a 0.150 thickness...

I have #21 coming from the ganza, is it the same knife with a slightly different cut? anyone else get this one?

One thing I noticed. Although the older saber grind ADs are .15 thick at the spine the new flat grind ADs that are .17 thick have very very good blade geometry.

What I did was set the calipers at .15 to see how far up the blade on the flat grind AD they would go before touching (as you can see) it is darn close to the spine of the blade.

If you measure the flat grind AD thickness at the same spot as the Saber AD turns to .15, the flat grind AD is only .13. On this custom AD that is at the top of the "e" in Busse.

Nice blades Tony!

I had an opportunity to buy a mint tan one for 300, but passed due to my Leaner/Meaner fetish. Wish I would have snagged it --- as much as you love them I probably could have traded you even for a Mojo :D

As much as I like MOJOs I would have given you $200 to balance the trade.

.

You've got a sweet collection of AD's. I'm curious what else you're hiding:D

Here is a better picture for you Tony..........

:D

That's just too many AD's for any one man to possess! Nice:)

I would call the lie detector specialists and grill every employee till I got that one back. I would go all Dictator on everyone! Thumb screws and electrodes to the tender bits till returned!:thumbdn:
