It seems I've got it bad. After checking out the forums and talking to a couple of friends who are into knives, I finally broke down and bought my first knife: The Spyderco Kiwi 3 Stag. I was hooked. About a week later I ordered a Kershaw Black Blur in the Knife Exchange, and just last night I ordered an Opinel No 5. I am already trying to decide between the Manix 2 or the SuperLeaf for my next knife. Thanks BladeForums! I only hope my bank account will forgive me...
