Recently, I decided to break down and finally get a "Darrel Ralph." Knife that is..... Unsure of what I wanted! Real toss up between the Apogee or Krait. What to do, what to do...........
Then, one day, I was surfin' the Forums and saw a Carbon Fiber EDC. And not a fancy one either! Fighter style blade and plain ole carbon fiber scales ~ ya know.....like the one sitting on the fence post!
Ordered it several months ago and it arrived today!
Overall Length is 8". Totes a blade length of 3.5". Elected to have the 420V Stainless Steel blade and black carbon fiber scales. Had to have the "Fighter" style blade. Absolutely fantastic job in the finish on the blade too. Move the knife around in light and the blade comes alive! Came with dual thumbstuds and heavy duty .075 liners. The knife is accented with heat colored (bronze) liners, screws, thumbstuds and clip. Awesome carbon fiber work! Extremely smooth and looks like snake scales!
And gotz to have pic's (scans actually):
Excellent job Darrel! Thanks..... I'll get a Krait one day!
Can't forget to include the person who help make this new addition happen ~ Thanks Kevin (of The EDGE Equipment)!
