Howdy folks, I haven't been on the forum in a while. My EDC continues to be my Large Classic Sebbie with wood inlays. I wanted to mention that, on a complete whim, I spontaneously called CRK and asked if the new lanyard and pin would work on my large classic. Sure enough. Ordered it on the phone last Thursday, late in the day, and it arrived in the mail today. Fits perfectly and definitely gives the Sebbie a more refined and tailored look -- far better than a pair of shoe laces passing through the handles. I highly recommend the upgrade, and for only $7, it's the best CRK deal in town. :D
 
I did the same thing 2 weeks ago! I got mine yesterday in the mail and it is now attached to my small regular sebenza :thumbup:. Mine came out to $7.50 after all done and said.

Funny thing is, on my EDC small 21, I just took off the lanyard but left the pin in (the lanyard was getting cut up from bumping into the blade when it was closed).:thumbdn:

I was wondering if the blade was going to rub agains the lanyard.

It appears they overcome that issue by wrapping the lanyard closer to the pin, taking up the slack, to restrict movement. :thumbup:

The side-effect, which I am experiencing today, for the first time, is that the lanyard sticks straight up (and out of my back pocket of my suit pants! Not bad if dark, but very bad if light colored)! :thumbdn:

Still, the Sebbie looks much better. lol :cool:
