New addition to my Vanguard family. The blade has a price on it that appears to be laser etched on. Has anyone ever seen this and how do you remove it? I think it's an eyesore on an otherwise gorgeous knife. ITE suggests that it is a salesman sample and I shouldn't try to remove it. $39.00 certainly isn't a retail price and fits with being a salesman's sample. I couldn't find this particular knife in any of the special project lists but Chuck and CJ signed the backside in '04.
