The other day my wife and I adopted a 1 year old cat from a local shelter.

Her name is Bella and our other cat Brady is slowly getting used to her being around and her never ending supply of playful energy.

Sounds like you will be having some good stories about a cat waking you at 3 am.

Yay rescue cat!!!!! She looks like she owns the place already.

Felines squalling,
tomcats calling
in the summer, in the dark,
in the alleys, in the park,
in my head
as I lie awake in bed.

Telling all their ancient stories
of their travels and their forays
out of Egypt in the past,
arriving in my home at last.

I will serve them without pause,
since I love them, just because.

My eyes are teared
My skin to welt
Lack of oxygen feared
Still warm feelings felt.

Highly allergic to felines, which makes me a dog lover. However, I am happy that you rescued the animal.

Thank you my friends.

yeah she truly belongs here and is very comfy and relaxed.

my other cat is a different story.

I think her endless amount of energy is starting to piss him off.

I think he would be better if she did nothing and slept all the time like he does. :)

it will take time but with patience and love all will be fine.
