Thanks to the generosity of a fellow HOG, my beater AB now has a beautiful sister. Kinda like the Cinderella thing.

The BM-e is my favorite 'big' knife, the Aftershock Bolo more so. So, after patiently biding my time, watching the x and dropping hints, a wayward AB contacted me looking for a new home. Showed up today.

Funny, I tried it in the Kenny Rowe sheath and it's too log to fit, same goes for the original kydex the CG came in. There's a lot of variation in the Es, 2 of my BM-es and the CG AB are the same length, the LE is the same length as my BM-e user.

I am now the proud owner of AB # 86

With her Leatherman sheath, it's a horizontal carry, LOL, the knife is as long as I am wide

Very cool, jimmyjones! :D:thumbup: I'm a fan of the AB also. :) Congrats on your new addition!

Your bony ass will get stuck trying to get through the door!! That's a long Chunk-O-INFI there!

Wonderful score, JJ! I've been eyeing the AB's since I got to handle yours...one of these days! ;)

Jimmy those are incredible.

THat looks to be the straightest AB I've seen. Is that just the angles of pics or does it have a very slight recurve?

awesome !

The one I sold recently had a slight recurve. Those are great choppers!

Jimmy,

Great looking family.

Did you happen to buy that BA-e off of Progunner? I think it used to be mine ;)

:D:D

Great score Jimmy:thumbup:

Great Ergo collection as well !

Thanks for the pics

Nice JJ !!:cool::thumbup:

Congrats I really love the way those bad boys feel, sweet score.

Are you going to just admire her or take her out back to the wood pile?

I have hours into staring at mine and chopping air but I've been picking up a few things here and there to chop up with old #80.
I figure after I beat the snot out of it I'll send it in for a spa treatment and but it back in the display all minty and such.:D

Great Ergo collection by the way.

Thanks for sharing
Helle

Gotcher PM, thought I'd let everyone know whats up with that freak of sheathmaking. ;)

iirc, its not a horizontal carry. Its one I did a long time ago, no stamp. Its intended for pack carry, use clips, straps, or cord to attach it to whatever. If I remember right, Malice clips worked well.

Hope this helps a little.

Being a custom maker, I simply do what the customer wants, sometimes I make some real hum dingers.

That's cool, and I had already started leaning in that direction. I usually strap my AB (in its original kydex) to my ruck, I never carry anything bigger than ~ 6" blade on my side, so that'll work just peachy.

You can Pm me, who was the org customer. ;)
