A little man in a brown suit delivered a little bundle of joy this afternoon...meet baby Eskabar! A little sister for my BK 2.

I am trying a few different wraps. It has been a while since I had a knife with a skeletonized handle. I forgot what a difference a little paracord can make.

Here is an updated family photo.

I think I might try out some leather scales for it. Not sure yet.
Thanks for watching.

Congrats on the new arrival! Keep that blade taped or sheathed when you are messing with it. Beckers have been known to bite! Keep us posted on the leather grips. And let's see some custome leather pants for it!

My exam is scheduled for August 30, so I probably won't make much progress for a few weeks. But, I don't start the new job until the end of September, so I will try to get a few of my projects done before then. I will definitely document and post any mods.

Thanks for watching.

Hey Thumper.....

Thanks for the business and I hope you and your new Becker have a long and satisfying relationship.......

BTW, I tried leather handle slabs on a couple of blades a very long time ago(so long ago that I cannnot remember why they failed) and they were an unmitigated diaster......I hope you have better ideas about this........I will be interested to see how you progress......

All Best....

Ethan

Congrats on the new blade. Good luck with the leather. PICS ! (lol)

I tried some thing a little different with my 14 too.

No pins/screws in wood handles. Went for the smooth look.
Extended the handle aprox. half inch too.
Actually holding up well. But it's only been assigned to "Bar Work"
Hey someone's gotta' slice those lemons :D

Used Gorilla Super Glue. (Best stuff, use it on everything)

I will be sure to document all progress for posterity. I haven't taken it off of my belt since I got it, and already see it taking the place of my EDC folder. Thanks for an amazing design.
