The problem for me is I use the blade closest to the choil for more control. With the serrations there it would be a pain.

Congrats, they're great knives, good balance, quick, fat. Nice AR.

Duh,

I hadn't paid attention the shorter scales on some of them. The exposed pommel, the handle shape is different, I've got one of the full scaled versions, I prefer it over the exposed, but I hadn't seen those before.

Totally awesome score. So what's the deal with these? They're on the Bussecollector site as "Non Series"? There are apparently three version floating about. ST(what's that mean?), and the tan's? They're all great. The blades and handles look different for all three versions? The ST looks like the handle shape those steeenkin' rats used on the Ratweilers and Mastiff's. Those dirty rats aren't as dumb as they look.

The diffusion of design went the other way. The original was used on the EU-17 series Busses, which were derived from the Terror Monkey models, which were modified Ergo handles.

The Ripper/STRipper series were BCS specials with limited numbers, as I recall. I can't remember if they were a military overrun or not, but I suspect they were.

Skunk? What's the scoop?

Rick
