So as some of you know, the wife is pregnant again...

"But Mike, didn't you two just have a baby??"

Yes we did... About 10 months ago.

"Wow. You should figure out what causes them."

So. The wife went in for her Dr appointment today. They did a quick ultrasound. This is what they saw.

Twins.

Gawd.....


To say we are excited is something of an understatement. We are thrilled and excited and scared.

Just thought I'd share this bit of great news with my other family. Drinkin Fat Tire tonight to celebrate..

Holy cow Mike! You're going to catch up to Brother Heavy if you keep that up! :D Boy am I glad twins don't run in either of our families. :D Congrats brother, I hope the mother's day present this year is a doozy!
 
congrats I think that is gonna put the hurts on the infi budget but what a deal a 2 for 1 gotta love em

We are right behind him... This is # 3 and #4 !!!!! Our oldest is 10, our newest in 10 months! We are going from a family of 3 to a family of 6 in 18 months!!!

And twins don't run in either of our families.. It's that 1:10,000,000 deal when it JUST happens.
 
I figure I only have one more for a set of four. The Mrs. would like to be done before she is 35, and the clock is ticking. :D I would be happy to be done before I am 40. As it stands I will be 50 when my oldest turns 20. Of course we will welcome whatever the Lord blesses us with. I am glad you hit the odds on the twins though, I figure, out of the Hog population, you made it safe for the rest of us who don't have a hereditary propensity for that. :D

The Dr says that it appears that these my not be identical.. There are 2 seperate sacks. Fraternal Twins I think they are called??

Hell, I dunno! Don't care! Healthy babies! That's all I care about! Thanks for the great words everybody! CHeers!

Congrats. I just learned my daughter will have twins. First twins in our family anywhere. She and her husband will be here in Salmon Creek with us when she delivers. I may bring my son in law to Eugene if he gets here in time.

Our six will hit when I am still 34. Might be time to start thinking about calling it a family.....but the wife is only 30.....hmmm...

Congrats Grandpa!! Hope he gets here in time for Eugene! We'll have to go get a festive beverage and toast the twins!!

I have only one, a almost 3 year old boy. If I got my wife pregnant 10 months later with twins I would go home and punch my self in the nuts (and maybe slap my wife for good measure......jk about that part but I would have to punch my nuts a few good ones). My wife will be lucky to get a second out of me........
