new aims

i have 2 new aims for my knife collection sog trident bowie : $475AUD and sog trident folder $125aud non serrated plain blade (no tigerstripe) . my question is do you think these two are worth buying at this price? i know all sog knives are fully functional so they would make a good investment , but what do you think people?

I'm a fixed blade kinda guy so I won't speak about the folder.

I just checked a currency converter:
475 Australian = 365.840 USD

WHEW !!! way too expensive for my SOG-loving blood. Even lying with statistics wouldn't help. Let's see, over 10 years of use that's only $36 USD/year, which is $3 USD/month, which is 10 cents USD/day ..... nope, still doesn't make the pain go away.

I'd figure out some way to buy it offshore and bring it home.
