Hello there,
I was just wondering about something odd I noticed about the writing on my second Lawman that's in od green with the cts-xhp steel. My first purchase was from bladehq and the second purchase was on eBay from seller supremesolution. The blade on my first has the little registered trademark "R" in between the letters cts and xhp. My second does not have that "R" and it really made me think I might have got a fake. This seller has always been good with everything else. Did Cold steel maybe change their wording? Has anyone else noticed this with theirs?

I'm also missing the R on the OD Recon 1 spear point with the new grind that I got in April. Also OliveDrab G10 is a bit more yellowish than my older OD Recons. Im certain its not fake just a new factory/revision. I got it from a large US online retailer.

Yeah I once noticed the same with a Recon XL but verified with Knifeworks that it was legit. They had both versions in stock. So no worries. Also that seller you bought from is trustworthy.

Thanks for all your time guys! This is my first ever post, and my 2nd day being a member. I can see why this forum is so highly rated by knife enthusiasts. Should have joined sooner! Anyways, thanks again guys for your support. I will most definitely be sharing the love back if I can help out anyone on here.

Most of my cold steel folders with the new steel has the r except one of them. They wers all purchased by the same shop.

Never noticed the R after the CTS till now.
Just by checking my nightstand knives it seems like my oldest ones all have the circle R but my newest, a 5.5 Talwar has it missing.

Now that I've been using this steel for a couple years now I gotta say it was a great move on CS part.

Changing blade steels probably changed the whole company in terms of who it now competes with for enthusiast dollars.
