The new and improved KA-BAR Knives App for Apple and Android devices is now available for download. The app features the KA-BAR catalog, videos, knife name generator, and a Build Your Own KA-BAR feature. Can you buy the knife you build? Not yet, baby steps. There is also a notification capability that will notify you of any KA-BAR giveaways, sales, new product releases, and all important KA-BAR information. To find the app go to your preferred app store and search "KA-BAR Knives". When you see the KA-BAR blueprint icon you will have found your target. We hope you and enjoy it.

Went to Google Play Store and typed in KA-BAR Knives (exactly how you put it) and couldn't find it. Hmmm. Not sure where else to look..
 
I got it. Just searched on "ka-bar" in Play Store. It's under Apps.


Suggestions for Knife Creator
- Add blade length option
- Add "no color" and "clear" blade option (btw, white?)
 
I just deleted the old app. I'll go get this one.

EDIT: Got it, had some fun with the knife creator.

I kind of like it. If the knife name generator is supposed to be the name of the blade, then I present...the Muskrat Trapper! Huh?

 
I may have to re-download the app. I have not been able to view the catalog at all. It just won't load up for some reason.
 
It's not hard to link to an app on the Apple App Store, and I assume the same is true for Android as well. A representative of a company that wants their apps downloaded should give those links, rather than just saying it's out there, go find it.

You make a compelling argument. It was initially omitted because of the number of different ways to access on Android devices. I personally use the Google Play Store, but others may use something different. Here are two links that will at least put it on your radar but I believe both requiring having the marketplace downloaded (iTunes or Google Play) and opened to download the app itself.

I cant find it either......tried every way to spell it.....not showing up.......can a link be posted??
 
Thats why I couldn't see it......not compatible with my Samsung S3.......wonder why???

We have noticed it is not showing up internationally and we are looking into why. We expect that to change soon, but it may still be blocked in some countries around the world that restrict "weapons" related content. Will keep you posted. Sorry for the inconvenience.
