I've been searching for months for a decent anvil for my 11 year old daughter and me to learn on. I put an ad on craigslist months ago and a gentleman contacted me this week with this anvil.
Its a Hay Budden, around 100 lbs or so, plus the hammers, swage set, bending tool, hold down and various chisels and punches. The face is dead flat and the edges are really good. I paid 225 for all of it and feel I got the better end of the deal[emoji2] .
Now to build a forge...
