New Arkansas Knife makers website is up

The new site is up. It's still under construction but will be freshened just after the AKA show February 22, 23. There is some important information pertaining to the show such as rooming information, etc. on the site. We figured it will serve that purpose most importantly and can acquire text and photographic content to round it out after the show. Check it out.

website looks good! Is there anything going on the Fri afternoon before the Arkansas Show? Last year, there was a cutting competition, if I remember correctly.

Good question Bill. We are forgoing the competition this year. If any of you would like to discuss the possibility of a 2015 cutting event, please see me at the show and we can talk about plans. The Historic Arkansas Museum will be featuring the Antique Bowie Exhibit with over 200 noteworthy Bowies, many featured in "The Antique Bowie Book" and the Norm Flayderman book "The Bowie Knife Unsheathing the Legend" . We invite all who get to town early to spend some time on Friday afternoon in the exhibit and put your name down for the Antique Bowie Exhibit photo catalog in our store. This is a pre order. The catalog will be out sometime later in the year. No money will be taken and the price is to be determined. Mark Zeleski is instrumental to it's production and may have some more information by show time.
