First off i would like to say hello to all of yall which suffer from the same addiction i have, knife collecting. Especially everyone who loves traditionals. as those are the only ones i care to own. i mainly have case and queen knives, absolutley love the barlow and gunstock patterns. today i bought a boker tree brand though, it is a copperhead with real neat red jigged bone. it is kind of like a cross hatch pattern. anyways i cant really tell but i think unfortunatly it has stainless blades but im not for sure how can i tell ? the box had 2626 JRBI printed on it if that helps! i hope to soon figure out how to post pictures so just bare with me i look forward to learning and sharing with yall! thanks

DCON...welcome! ...I am personally not familiar with the knife you speak of (need pics!)..but let me assure you there is nothing wrong with GOOD stainless ..I have several stainless knives that are as good as, if not better than the majority of carbon blades.... FES

Hi dcon, and welcome to Bladeforums. Nice knife. According to the very elementary Google search I did, it has carbon steel blades.
