My first Northfieeld UN-X-LD just arrived. I say first, because if the other UN-X-LD are of this quality (and from I read here they are), I'm addicted. I think it is a gorgous knife. The fit and finish are great. And, it came sharp. I like the size at 3.5'' closed with 1095 steel.

Thanks for looking.

Yeah, thats a good one and one that is on my list.
I love the long pulls, gorgeous knife and congrats.

Rob, that's a beauty! I like the deep tones on that choffee jig bone.

I have a #66 jack I really like and have been tempted by the stockman patterns. Tell me, though, does the sheepsfoot dig into your hand when using the master blade?

Thanks and congrats.

Thank you Kevin. Now I understand better why people speak highly of these GECs.

If you are anything like me its hard to figure it out without trying it for yourself. I can listen and believe as much as I want but sometimes it doesn't click until I do it myself :)

That´s really nice. I like it much. Great Stockman pattern! :)

Kind regards
Andi

Beautiful knife.
I plan on making this model my first. Now I am torn between the new spring green bone, dark red bone, and ebony.
It's a good thing I don't have any money or I'd be broke.
Enjoy your knife!

I like the colour of that bone and the jigging pattern. Don't think they've released anything else in it, so yours could feature in the Rare GEC thread, a good buy indeed.

Super nice Rob!

I have got to get one of these this time around.

Purdy sweet look'n pattern.. Anyone know if they make one with a punch blade-tool?

Best,
Anthony

MY first from Northeast Cutlery is another Tear drop jack with what they call Green Brier scales.
Fit and finish are perfect, The big paddle shape of the main blade reminds me of an improved Boy Scout blade
wich was perfect for every thing from cutting rope, slicing notches in wood,Food Prep. or spreding peanut butter on a slice of bread.

Stockmans seem to have bitten me. Along with a few other patterns. :)

I haven't got a chance to use it too much yet. It feels comfortable for my hand. The way it lays in my hand, it seems to fall between my second and third finger. Just as a reference, comparing it to other knives of similiar size, the Case medium sticks up about the same and the Buck Cadet is a little more shallow.

I like that one also. I'm considering that one next or the #48 dogleg jack.

Not yet, this is the second run for the #66 Calf Ropers. Actually, I don't think any #66s with a punch have been released... yet (I wonder What's Happening ? :D)
