My Fiance and I purchased a new camera for christmas. I am still learning how to use it but Ithink that the first couple of pics came out pretty good. The camera is a nikon coolpix 4300.
The knife :Blade length of 2-7/8in and 1/8in thick hollow ground, made of Bob Eggerling mosaic damascus Overall length is 6-3/4in.
Bolsters are twist damascus as is the latch. Presentation grade mammoth ivory scales. Fully fileworked screws, latch, backbar and liners. The liners have been anodized purple as is the spring. Hidden bolster screws for a cleaner look. Great lockup and snap.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck

Good choice of camera. I'm thinking of getting a 4300 myself. It takes great macros, so you can get up REALLY close and capture the details.

Oh yeah, beautiful knife too :D All the pieces go together very well.

Chuck, there's no stopping you now! Not with the camera anyway. Once you find the right combination of lighting and diffusers and settings your pics will be as clear as anyone needs. Keep working it.

Already I see a difference in resolution and sharpness. Congrats on such a good gift!

And a fine subject it is as well. :)
