Decided its time to have an appropriate avatar.

Its the first knife I received from Tony Bose, and one of the first custom slipjoints I owned.

Deal was that I had to show up at Blade 3 years ago or he was going to sell it to JpN, another BF member. Drove from Austin to Atlanta, slept on a friends couch, went to Tony's room Thursday before the show to pick up the knife. Besides that knife, there were about 30 other Bose knives being passed around the room. It changed my perspective completely on knife collecting.

Never bought another tactical knife after that, and have added many more Bose knives to my collection. I've also been back to Atlanta every year since and am going again this year. The show is almost secondary to visiting with Tony, Reese and company the night before the show.

Here is the full size pic of this knife. There is only one other A-2 tbose wharncliffe trapper.

Nothing short of stunning.

That is one smokin' knife. You must be real proud of it. Lots of detail and figuring in that carefully picked out stag. It Blade the only show they will show up at to sell knives?

Fasteddie,
So how many scrathes have you put on it from daily use?? :D
Jim
I did carry it for a while... it was too nice a knife not to carry and use all the time. Then I came to my senses and realized it was too nice to risk damaging. I've put away all my knives that have Remington bone handles because the supply of real Remington bone has all but vanished. We won't be seeing many new custom knives with Remington bone in the future.

Boink, its Remington bone, not stag.
