So, today I went through the locally famous hillsville swapmeet, I got a double bit kelly perfect, i saw a legitimus, a marbles number 5, a commander and a few flint edges, one single bit and 2-3 double bits and a norlund double bit. Any thoughts?

well, i didn't exactly come with $350, but next year, i'll bring some trading fodder. plus the marbles was either gold or brass plated, either way it looked expensive

Well it sounds like the stuff was way overpriced then, and I'm not sure if the gold plated ( not sure what carrot ) marbles hatchets were ever made in the US.

I guess it's good you didn't buy any of that overpriced stuff.

oh, it wasnt over-priced, i just didnt want to pay premium for it the 350 was for everything that looked good, just a round-a-bout number

Was the Norlund DB a saddle cruiser (that's what they're called right?) if it was, you could have made a fair chunk of tot can back on just that, condition depending.
