New axe stand/rack

50*F today, so I got to work outside. Finally built a stand/rack for my axes, which were hanging form rafters, sitting on boxes, etc. Pretty inexpensive with 2x4 and 2x3. Most expensive thing were the 8" bolts, but I like things solid.

Nice rack. Nice collection. I haven't got floor space. I need ideas for a wall display. T-A

When my wife gives me a hard time about having too many axes, I am showing her that picture of your guest bedroom and telling her she should count her blessings.

I'm imagining a scenario where someone like an inlaw is going to stay the night at your house, and the look of horror on their face when you show them where they will be sleeping. Like in Ace Ventura when he goes into that trophy room.

I see that guest bedroom, and I'm a little concerned...there's a bow and a gun mixed in with all that good stuff. I think you need to stay a little more focused! Thanks for the display ideas. T-A

With all those axes in the room the scariest thing is the freaking cleaver. You need to get some leather sheath for it. I bet it would give me nightmares if I ever spent a night in that room. I do not know, maybe it belongs to be hanged in the kitchen????

That’s funny, I was just thinking of doing the same thing and telling her I only have a small axe addiction.
