I received my tribute knife from Axelson Tactical. This is the coated blade with what I can only best describe as a desert viper snake skin coloured handle.

I have several Busse knives and the Buy Brown Kydex sheathes they come in. This is a serious and well finished tool, and I'm proud that this is in support of Axelson Tactical.

I have a military background and am currently law enforcement, but I never was nor could be now, a SEAL, so I did not go with the knife that bore the Budweiser since I never earned the right to bear that honour, same as I wouldn't want people bearing my unit's elite logo unless they earned it too.

So, I went with the desert sand coloured blade model.

It's a nice setup, shorter than the LB Gemini and a tad longer than the Scrapyard I own. This is a beautiful knife, a useful and not-too-long overall length and finished with the always excellent Brown Kydex sheath.

Thanks to Busse for making it and to Corky Axelson for having this option available.

Great knife.

Nice! Very nice! Congrats! I admit I saw the title and got excited and thought Busse was finally coming out with a Hawk though.

First of all, awesome blade. I don't think anyone would hold it against you for buying the knife from a collector's standpoint, that wouldn't be "Stolen Valor", IMO. It's not like you'd be wearing that, with a fake Seal tattoo in BDU's trying to pick up teenage chicks at a Mall with a pack of bullcrap war stories. I have a lot of knives with military provenance, most of us do. If you admire the knifem buy it and enjoy it. Busse isn't like those chinese companies, if they have an item with a Seal logo, you can darn sure bet it's approved by the Seals. I'd doubt they mind you buying one and collecting it, anyway, sounds like you've paid, and are still paying, your dues. Me owning a Kar-98 doesn't make me a nazi, same thing. :)

Congratulations on an excellent knife.
Thank you for your military service and your continued service.
